Welcome to Grasshoppers Senior Netball Section

Grasshoppers Netball Club aims to provide a netball club where adults of all ages and ability can enjoy playing netball. We welcome all netball players to participate, where our goal is to succeed in competitive situations, improve skills, and fitness benefits.

The main netball winter season runs from September to April where we enter 3 teams into leagues of varying standards. We also continue playing into the summer participating in mid-week leagues.

We train every Monday (excluding Bank Holidays) from 7.30pm - 9.15pm on the floodlit netball courts. We are coached by a qualified level 2 coach.

Grasshoppers Netball Club has achieved the England Netball Silver CAPS Award, which means we have achieved a set of core criteria to ensure we operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. This prestigious accreditation is only given to clubs who can demonstrate that they are offering a good quality netball provision within their community. This includes growth of number of coaches, members and volunteers as well as the development of a strategic plan to see the club progress.
