Dick Brisco

It is with great sadness to inform you of the sad passing of Richard (Dick) Brisco earlier this week at the age of 79 after a long and protracted illness. A mobile prop, Dick played for G’s as a colt and through to seniors from the mid 1960’s at the Dysart, through to when he and wife Sheila emigrated to initially Canada and then to America. Dick was instrumental in encouraging the judo boys and girls to join Grasshoppers during that time.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Sheila and the family at this sad time and there will be opportunity to log onto the funeral which takes place on 11^thMarch with Jeffrey Delderfield representing Grasshoppers.

Dave had already scheduled a visit to see Pete & Val Hobson next week and will be at the Club with Glyn Williams at noon on Saturday 14^thMarch for an informal lunch and you’d be most welcome but please let me know for catering purposes.
