New DoR Announced

I am delighted to announce that Alastair Lydon is our new DoR (Director of Rugby).
He has been a member at Grasshoppers for some 4 years, has sons playing in the U10’s and U7’s and has delivered a number of coaches CPD (Continuous Personal Development) sessions for the club.
Alastair has an incredible "Rugby CV†with very successful experience both as a player (including Richmond, Sale, Barnes, County,...) and off the field ( including County coaching, England RFU U19 Match Analyst,..). He is currently 1st XV Head Coach at Harrodian School.
His coaching philosophy includes creating players that are creative, aware, resilient, good decision makers, and are self organised...helping facilitate individuals achieve their potential and become independent thinkers. Build a player centric environment and play an expansive, entertaining and enjoyable brand of rugby.
Alastair will be overseeing all Minis/Juniors/Seniors/Girls and driving a total integrated "One Club†Grasshoppers ethos and culture.
A really brilliant appointment for our club!
