First win of the season for Hoppers

G’s second XV faired much better in the Middlesex Merit table away to Twickenham with a side full of past colts making their first appearance at senior rugby. They found themselves 7-0 up at half time with some excellent rugby and a try from winger, Cameron Isenberg and the conversion from stand-off Charlie Lecuyer, with the home side only making intermittent journeys into their 22.

The close game continued in the second half with the home side adding 2 converted tries and G’s adding a second try through Sam (the magnet) Pusey which was converted by Charlie Lecuyer who also added a penalty to make the final score 14-17.
